RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT COMPOSITE MATERIAL WITH A HIGHER RESISTANCE TO HIGH TEMPERATURES
Válek, Jaroslav ; Durica,, Tibor (referee) ; Kolář,, Karel (referee) ; Sitek,, Libor (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
Concrete has many advantageous properties as regards resistance to fire. It is non-flammable and it has a low thermal conductivity. However, concrete structures, which are not designed for resistance against fire, show significant damage after heating. In particular, the explosive flaking with the consequence of weakening the reinforced concrete cross-section and exposing the steel reinforcement to the temperatures higher than critical temperature of reinforcement. There are only a few possible measures of preventing or mitigating the effects temperature load used. Ways of protection can be divided into two systems: active and passive. Active systems are designed to ensure the greatest possible reduction of temperatures the concrete is exposed to. Passive systems directly resist to high temperatures and fire. Design of composition of concrete with the aim of higher resistance to exposition to high temperatures belongs among the passive systems. A part of the work focuses on summary searches of the problems of concrete and reinforced concrete structures exposed to high temperatures and fire. The goal of the work is defining requirements for cement matrix based composite material and its design ensuring the highest possible resistance to high temperatures or direct fire.
SW for control of climate tests
Fedor, Denis ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with control of a specific climate chamber used for various climate tests. Therefore its elaboration starts with the identification of properties of this climate chamber and basic design of its control. This is followed by measuring the temperature distribution in its internal space in order to verify the usability of this climate chamber. The thesis also does not omit a description of the communication options between climate chamber and application for control of climate tests. The next part of this thesis concerns the design and implementation of the application for control of climate tests itself. On its output is a report of the performed climate test. In the end this thesis contains the description of program testing in the real operation of the company and other possible improvements of the implemented program.
Architectural and technical inspection of building damaged by fire
Rozsypalová, Iva ; Schmid, Pavel (referee) ; Daněk, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis summarizes knowlegde related to the behavior of structures and material in the fire, focusing mainly on concrete and reinforced concrete structures. It deals with the design and implementation of diagnostic work of Building no. 103 in complex Svit Zlín affected by a large fire. There are presented evaluation of laboratory experiments of samples and static analysis.

Study of the properties of cement concrete at high temperatures
Žák, Michal ; Sitek,, Libor (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on behavior of cement concrete at high temperatures. The theoretical part describes processes, which take place in concrete at thermal loading and effect of this thermal load to mechanical and physical properties of concrete. Also there was described recommendation for testing physical and mechanical of concrete at high temperatures according to RILEM TC. In experimental part mixes were made with greywacke aggregate, amphibolite aggregate and with the addition of polypropylene fibers or cellulose fibers. In these mixes was determined the effect of high temperatures on the density of concrete, compressive strength of concrete and thermal strain of concrete. Further there was tested addition of 2 kg/m3 polypropylene fibers to concrete with basalt aggregate and siliceous aggregate and influence of these fibers to density of concrete, compressive strength of concrete and dynamic modulus of elasticity.

Studying the behavior of concrete at high temperatures
Žák, Michal ; Sitek,, Libor (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on behavior of concrete at high temperatures. The theoretical part describes processes, which take place in concrete at thermal loading and further there was described testing of concrete at high temperatures. Next there was described influence of high temperatures on each component of concrete and design of appropriate components for concrete exposed to high temperatures. In experimental part mixes was made with greywacke aggregate, amphibolite aggregate and with the addition of polypropylene fibers. In these mixes was determined the effect of high temperatures on the density of concrete, dynamic modulus of elasticity of concrete and compressive strength of concrete.
